    This really epitomizes the smug attitude where they pretend their cruelty is actually kindness.

    It’s one thing to say “Sorry, your lifestyle is not compatible with our faith.”

    But they have to go with “Sure, we’ll accept you as long as you recognize that you’re a disgusting freak. Isn’t that accepting and generous of me?”

    Couldn’t Christianity be considered a mental illness? Believing in imaginary things throughout adulthood? I’m not knocking religion because I know it has its purpose for people, but if you’re going to use it as a weapon, don’t be surprised when someone uses that weapon against you. If not a mental illness, then it’s textbook brainwashing.
