It’s always been baffling to me that this is the case. Even if there was a small charge a lot of folk would choose get the vaccine. Rather than risk the disease it prevents.

    Fuck. No. The whole point of the NHS is free at the point of service. We have already paid for it via taxation, fuck double dipping and incentivising privatisation of healthcare.

    You need only look at America for the logical conclusion of that. Or look at England to see what half private half public gets you.

    Healthcare is not a service only for the well off. Everyone requires it.

      I wouldn’t want there to be any charge but as it stands literally the only available option is to pay £600 to some private arsehole. It should be free to all at point of use.

        Exactly, so complain to your MP, MSP, local councillors, and the Health Secretary to get it added to the NHS.
