    parents trying to keep the home livable and keep kids on schedule were probably dealing with their own issues; where do you think yours came from?

    I don’t say that in a mean way, I simply assert - having seen both sides of the coin - we’re all going through our own shit.

      True. Growing older callouses a person and every year makes it harder to remember how much harder it is to get through shit when you’re young.

      This is the explanation my father tried to give me. He had a bad father so he was a bad father. True, he had it tough, but it’s on you as an adult to treat your own children well

    Believe me, it’s better for u to listen mum’s complaints for a couple years rather than have her put you on psycotherapy and get labelled in the system registry as mentally ill for the rest of your life.

    I feel like I’ll never want to have kids because I’d be too scared of being a bad or apathetic parent.
