No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why isint lemmy more popular?English
2·3 hours agoPeople tend to overexplain, just point people to an instance link and that’s it
Nice one ha ha

PieFed Meta@piefed.social•Request to Label OP from CrosspostsEnglish
3·12 hours agothat’s what you mean - the link is not enough, it would require a db lookup?
That’s what I meant yes

Lemmy@lemmy.ml•A question about multi-communities (the new feature being tested)English
10·12 hours agoHopefully it’s possible, if not it’s a shortcoming.
Piefed feeds do already if you are interested

Privacy@lemmy.dbzer0.com•Can't find a chat app that has it allEnglish
4·12 hours agoDoesn’t have the web access, but https://delta.chat/en/ is quite solid
I tested a few recently in this post: https://piefed.zip/c/privacy/p/763572/looking-for-a-federated-alternative-to-signal-as-they-might-have-to-comply-with-chatcontro#post_replies

Fediverse@piefed.social•Lemmy multi-communities alpha now visible on test serverEnglish
2·13 hours agoVery nice. I just created a test account, seems like you can’t create your own private multi-communities yet

PieFed Meta@piefed.social•Request to Label OP from CrosspostsEnglish
6·19 hours agoCould be tricky as I don’t think there’s a way to identify the OP just from a link

Fediverse memes@feddit.uk•Lemmy walked so PieFed could runEnglish
1·19 hours agoI remember the second one with the libbity lib lib
The first one seems someone throwing a fit. I’ve had it worst on other instances, I don’t equal them with the three ones.
2 posts seem light to put them to the same level as the three others

Fediverse@lemmy.world•Is Pixelfed sawing off the branch that the Fediverse is sitting on?English
2·19 hours agoAll posts won’t, a user from the Mastodon instance needs to follow the Piefed user for their posts to show up on the Mastodon instance
Sorry, what’s a TLC?
lemmit.online is 100% bot
Lemmy.zip is fine

Fediverse@lemmy.world•Is Pixelfed sawing off the branch that the Fediverse is sitting on?English
2·21 hours agoOf course people can, but do they? In terms of monthly active users:
- https://lemmy.fediverse.observer/dailystats: 35.000
- https://piefed.fediverse.observer/dailystats: 1600
- https://mbin.fediverse.observer/dailystats: 736
Everybody can interpret those numbers differently, to me they show that people on the Threadiverse don’t care about the microblogging format that much.

Fediverse@lemmy.world•Is Pixelfed sawing off the branch that the Fediverse is sitting on?English
5·21 hours agoYou can’t follow people on Lemmy or Piefed, and everybody here seems fine with that
Reminds me of the Matrix submarine
