I don’t agree with everything about the free speech crackdown, but I find it hilarious that Democrats and Lemmy all of a sudden hate “cancel culture” even though they are the ones that started it.

False generalization. Antifa refers to a small set of activists, not to liberals, centrists, libertarians, or most left-leaning voters. Your words don’t match reality.

“If you hate being called antifa maybe you are a fascist” isn’t logic. It is circular and ad hominem. It assumes guilt from the start and replaces evidence with a label. Arguments should be met with facts and principles, not name-calling.

Most Americans oppose fascism. Me too. That’s why I push back on tactics that erase political opponents by tagging them as extremists. In a free country we judge policies and actions, not entire groups.

That’s why I’m fighting Leftist Fascists and Leftist Nazis who are all over Lemmy and want it to be their personal echo chamber.
