Company name is: Trajector Medical
I was always under the impression that most of these companies that claim to help you navigate difficult paperwork (such as VA benefits or Medicare paperwork, etc) were either scams, or, they did what they advertised for a steep cost, and thus, should be avoided at all costs.

The algorithm recommends things it thinks you’ll like or have watched before. So if its recommending AI slop, it’s because you’re watching AI slop already. People just refuse to take the time to “train” your algorithm (and this isn’t just YouTube, it’s all algorithmic based platforms). You like / dislike stuff, hide things, give feedback, etc, and eventually you only really see the stuff you actually want to see. Sure some things slip through but 🤷♀️ I use YouTube and will continue to only bc the people I watch don’t post anywhere else, unfortunately.

Swag, thank you!

What do we use instead of Firefox? I don’t want to participate in the AI bullshit, and I honestly really like Firefox and use it across all my devices :(

How is this an attack on another user? I am genuinely asking. Like the screenshot you posted, I mean.

Who asked for this ?

All they care about is getting ad revenue from you and scraping your comments / posts to train their AI. So if you’re giving them neither, then yeah, being on Reddit is aight, imo. Like you I only go there anymore for answers to questions I can’t find anywhere else.
I think it’s because both are in the “fediverse” so perhaps that’s part of how that works
Wow that is just basically twitter. That makes a whole lot of sense! Thank you!
Am I stupid lmao I got here via Lemmy 😂
I think it’s okay, now I know apparently that mastadon just does that. I did not realize mastadon and Lemmy interfaced like this. Carry on! Enjoy your stay!
I genuinely did not know that was a thing on mastadon!
Perhaps it’s the app you’re using? I would say most people (at least on Lemmy, where I’m viewing this from) don’t tag the OP unless there’s something specific they want to draw their attention to or if they’re calling them out specifically in a reply. They get notifications of all your comments so no real need to tag them. It’s a lot like reddit in that respect (again, I’m on Lemmy, using the Voyager app. Another app might be different).
Edit: apparently that’s a mastadon thing. Proceed.
Lmao why did you tag the OP in your reply ?
Edit: I did not know they were coming from mastadon and I had no idea their platform worked like that. Sorry!!!

Idk why this was downvoted I’ve yet to meet a active service member who voted for Biden (I know my sample size isn’t huge but like, lots of vets love Trump and love that he’s deporting people)

History books will have the Trump administration listed as one of the most corrupt presidencies of all time. And everybody knows it, and nobody is doing anything about it except letting him continue on.

At least it sounds like most people are blaming the Republicans for this. We can only hope they remember this the next time they go vote, but I’m not holding my breath.
This is probably going to be an unpopular opinion, but, imma say it anyway. If what you’re using now works for you and your family and people are happy with continuing to use it, then keep using it. There is no ethical consumption under capitalism. You have to pick your battles, and pick what you spend your time and your energy on. I personally don’t know anything about tidal, I made the switch to YouTube music bc I already pay for YouTube premium, and I used their import tool for my liked songs and my playlists. Very easy, seamless experience for me, only a couple songs “couldn’t be found” or YouTube picked the “wrong” version (like it picked a live version over a studio recording, for example).
But if what you’re using is working out … Idk man, might just be easier to keep using it. Esp since you’re making it sound like you simply don’t want to actually switch and you’re starting to cave to peer pressure.
