DEP were the trendsetters. Many other bands like iwrestledabearonce showed up on the scene and kind of flooded the zone. Plenty of gimmicky wonky prog stuff, but I love it. I remember many a metal elitist writing off the entire mathcore scene.

I’ve been nostalgic for Mathcore over the last few days. I know a lot of people hated it and thought it was gimmicky, which it was, but IMO it holds up well. The '00s was a magical time for Mathcore.

Cool photos. Hopefully I’ll be able to get some better action shots soon. I just upgraded my camera body and hopefully the AF and tracking are much improved. My current body is 13 years old and my AF might as well be blind.

The list expands. I heard a male and female belted kingfisher the other day. I kept running up and down the river bank trying to get photos to no avail. They’re one of my favs.

That’s about the same time I finally wrote them off entirely. Completely unacceptable and they think because they’re the only other major party that they can hold us hostage? They can kick rocks.

This is me now that birds are migrating back. I want to get up early for golden hour photos but it’s always cloudy until the sun has been up for a few hours. One of these days I’ll get lucky.

I’d love for them to attempt to pull me from my home for a draft, lol. I’ll take at least one with me.

For sure they’re the prettiest woodpecker in my area. Personally I’d say the pileated is my favorite because of their size and their large red crest, but flickers are close by. Definitely a top bird!

And these morons wonder why their numbers are abysmal even in the face of the worst most fascist president and Congress of my lifetime. I’m done with the Democrat party, fucking scumbags.
