Typically about a week of fireworks going off at all hours, one good show of fireworks at the local park, and dinner with my parents. Usually they’re hosting a party but not this time around.
I’ve never been particularly nationalistic enough to celebrate much more than that.
47·7 days agoDiscs were already kinda starting to push their limits as far as their storage capacity on a single disc, it wouldn’t.be profitable with modern AAA games for much longer anyway IMO. 100GB bluray would be like 10-20 bucks on the raw disc alone IIRC
7·10 days agoAll it took was not rubbing in spray-on sunscreen for me to get blisters all over my shoulders on a waterpark day as a kid.

6·10 days agoKeep a towel in a bucket of ice water, wrapped around the neck, does wonders for the heat. Or just keep a wet towel in your freezer for like 30 minutes.

Man, i used to drive a stick shift '99 f150, solid goddamn truck. 20 years later (and after i learned to drive in it), it broke the original clutch on a hot day pulling other cars out of the mud (somebody else owned it at that point)
Id help crucify the bodies for display on TV.
