Nice Neuromancer reference.

1·20 hours agoI really enjoyed the Spielberg miniseries Taken when it came out in 2002, but I rewatched it a couple of years back and it hasn’t aged all that well.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What do you think of Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy?
1·20 hours agoI’m not saying he was bad, he was as good as the rest of the movie and if one saw the movie at the right age I can see how he would be the definitive Joker, but he just didn’t do anything special for me.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What do you think of Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy?
3·20 hours agoHe… was in serious contention for the Supporting Actor Oscar. Serious enough that he won it. Posthumously of course, but he still won.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What do you think of Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy?
1·21 hours agoI thought they were good, but Heath Ledger’s Joker was overrated. I mean, he’s fine but I didn’t think he was amazing which seems to be the general consensus. I don’t think he would have won the Oscar if he hadn’t died.

3·2 days agoIn addition to the technical differences, DCC tapes had a form factor similar to its predecessor, the plain-old analog compact cassette. Most (if not all) DCC decks could also play analog tapes. DAT used a unique form factor not compatible with anything preceeding it.

The Changes was decent. Also, after 2000 and more of a comedy but Zomboat was pretty good.
Edit: Also, it’s from New Zealand not Britain, but The Quiet Earth is good.
