shouldn’t be a problem for me, because
a) I don’t live in Utah
b) I don’t make eye contact with people
c) I don’t have sex
Someone should social engineer or dox these dumbasses
this is a reminder for me to get a kettle
This is a great answer exceeding my expectations. Thank you!
I don’t think optical fiber cables do patch through. They’re basically just point to point. This port also doesn’t seem to do anything optic-wise. Or even copper for that matter. The ports don’t seem to have anything behind them.
Edit: wait I think I see two holes that could be for that
I should have specified but this was found in a conference room of an old building. It was on the same wall as the TV. It would be pretty unusual to have two USB-A ports. I’m leaning towards them being network ports since those are usually run in pairs
When I first read this I was confused about whether OP meant Minecraft or Roblox,

Excellent Reads@sh.itjust.works•How AGI became the most consequential conspiracy theory of our time
2·15 days agoWe will no doubt have some kind of AGI at some point, if we don’t extinct ourselves in the meantime. It’s not going to happen anytime soon, probably not within our lifetimes. And it’s not going to come from an LLM (Language ≠ Intelligence). My best bet is that one computer scientist will pioneer an actual piece of technology, in the same way neural networks were invented. The person who does it will probably be highly skilled in neuroscience and math, which I doubt anyone at OpenAI is. But again, if it ever could happen, it wouldn’t be now. Our computers and algorithms have largely remained the same for the past 20 years, they’ve just gotten cleverer and faster. I think the idea of a computer reasoning is cool, but I haven’t seen any of that from anyone. Just neat tricks.
