True! Based on a Liu Cixin story. Never read it but loved his Three Body Problem series.
Absolutely agree with the wonders of the natural beauty in the US.
Only thing I would disagree with is that the European cities are quite a bit different than US cities. They largely have more historical charm, more methods of transportation, and on the whole somewhat distinct from one another.
They are loathe to say anything bad about the god emperor too so you know it’s probably way more actually feeling it
I’ve been cynical about them for years but there’s been enough interesting milestones crossed lately that I wonder if an injection of AI money wouldn’t just do the trick.
Depends on the state but many let independents choose which primary to vote in.

I knew nothing about them until now and his statement reveals a lot more about their company than even hers did
I cancelled because Spotify was injecting their own ads in my podcasts. Like clearly injected ads and not the podcasters’ embedded ones. Not sure if they are still doing it but that was the last straw for me as a long time premium member.
They’re all vibe elections now. MAGA and its billionaires know they need to change that. Hopefully their money isn’t enough this time.
They didn’t really embrace Obama either until it was clear he was going to beat Clinton
I know just what you’re talking about and as I consume more media I even start to notice certain setups across them. Like even if one show has never used that trope before I can kind of tell where it’s going to go.
The best is when they know - and they know you know - and then subvert your expectations with a mew twist to the trope.
It’s possibly the only really great thing about becoming so literate in a certain media. Typically it spoils the fun as you well described, but it’s a real joy to have almost like a dialog if you will with the creator of the show as they play with your understanding of what is happening.
There’s always a bundle of people in threads like this that are eager to downvote even vaguely pro-Apple sentiment
