I really appreciate your time, IrateAnteater!
I am using the same user/pass between each VM, as well as my own PC. I have had my PC (just using Dolphin’s built in remote share/smb discovery to find then log into the share server) logged in (same user) at the same time as VM1, with no issues.
Did some searching, found this thread where a user suggests to install cifs-utils, which I apparently did not do. After that, I attempted to sudo mount -a again, and get:
Couldn't chdir to /home/marighost/gilashare: No such device
Then, I now notice that the directory /home/marighost/gilashare is now owned by the root user, no longer has write permission for user/other, and is still not mounted as a network share. 🫠

Pledge of Allegiance (Wikipedia link)
Republicans and the Christian fascists would lose their fucking minds to learn who wrote the original PoA. A Union officer, who did not include the line “Under God” (which was added as late as 1954!). Then, it was altered by Francis Bellamy, a Christian Socialist:
Bellamy was a Christian socialist,[1] who “championed ‘the rights of working people and the equal distribution of economic resources, which he believed was inherent in the teachings of Jesus.’”[6] In 1891, Bellamy was “forced from his Boston pulpit for preaching against the evils of capitalism”,[3] and eventually stopped attending church altogether after moving to Florida, reportedly because of the racism he witnessed there.[10] Francis’s career as a preacher ended because of his tendency to describe Jesus as a socialist. In the 21st century, Bellamy is considered an early American democratic socialist.[11]
Pretty cool guy.

Thanks for the replies. I’m not sure what the security type is, if it has a specific one. It seems strange that one VM would work without specifying the security type, while the other wouldn’t. I forgot to mention that each VM is stock Debian 13.

Changed the password on the share server to remove the semicolon. Rebooted the share server (which is also a VM), and updated the .sharelogin with the updated password. Saved, and just-in-case ran sudo systemctl daemon-reload (despite fstab not changing) and finally sudo mount -a. Same errors as mentioned in the OP, unfortunately.

A finger on the monkey’s paw curls. It’s Gavin Newsom for 8 years.
It isn’t that serious.

Would be hella cool as a glow in the dark graphic. Sick art!
Nice writeup. I agree some of the quests are just mind-numbing, like the pal critic quests. I think those are the only quests I haven’t done yet, despite 300ish hours and the palpedia complete (minus catch bonuses). I just do not want to keep going back and forth 5 times to each of the 10? 15? Pal critics across the world.

The Rockies are baby mountains. Super young and nothing interesting going on. Appalachia is ooooold. So old that there are unspeakable cosmological horrors in them hills.
Rockies ain’t got shit on Appalachia.
t. I live at the foot of those hills.

Aw cool I’m a Nazi!

I’m not OP but have 300 hours in Palworld: yes. While raids are kind of rare anyway (from my and my wife’s experience), they do scale based on the continent your base is on, but you can totally beef up your pals to make them fully defensible against raids. There are buildables in the tech tree for defenses like walls and turrets.

…and you’re just not gonna post the recipe???
You owe him $10,000,000 for saying that!

Didn’t Smash Ultimate also have a “music mode”? I think that and Kirby Air Riders (both directed by Masahiro Samurai) had one.

God, I forgot it wasn’t even on Switch. What a waste.

They looooooove the drip feed. They do the same thing to their bare bones music service by releasing one game’s worth of songs per month.

So they’re relying on streamers not realizing the option is on, or perhaps not caring that it’s on, to get their training data. Stupid bastards.

The first one was perfect. It doesn’t need a sequel.
Joe Carr is an absolute piece of shit, but even a broken clock etc etc.
