    Radicalism is not the opposite of empathy. What a terrible thing to dichotomise.

      Agree! I’d even say that I have become more radical BECAUSE I developed more empathy. How can someone look at all those suppressed and mistreated people around them and not feel that?

      It’s not saying they are the opposite. In fact, it is saying they are so similar that it is the gain in empathy that is being mistaken for an increase in radicalism.
