There is an entire community called nude in public. And in a lot of cases, there are people also in the photo with the nude person. I was under the impression that this is “Indecent exposure” and is illegal?
Depends on the country. In Europe nudity is generally not seen as so sexually charged. While a fully nude person might raise some eyebrows, depending on the city they’re in it might just be a curiosity.
I’ve definitely seen people tanning naked in public parks in Cologne and nobody cared.
Edit: I recently saw this video of a sex educator being shocked by European sex education videos. This can show Europeans how prude Americans are. Americans should look into the comments to see how normal nudity is for Europeans, especially if it’s just educational.
I think a big part of it is that, despite it being “indecent exposure,” a large amount of the population just doesn’t care. Like they aren’t out going naked themselves, but plenty of people understand that a naked body isn’t a bomb, it’s just a naked body, and that means it is entirely harmless. So even if you see somebody being naked in public… so what?
Like put yourself in the shoes of that bystander - if you were walking down the boardwalk and saw a nudist, would you immediately reach into your phone and call the police? If so, fucking why?
Public nudity is usually a local law, rather than something big. So there’s plenty of places where it’s legal.
You can’t tell by a picture where it was taken often enough that it would matter.
Plus, you can get permits for photo shoots in some places, and that allows for a lot of stuff that’s going to be iffy any other time.
It’s not illegal in as many areas as you think, and if you’re an attractive woman few people care.
It is usually illegal. You just have to be fast enough
In Germany such behaviour can become very expensive if someone calls the police.
