The political illiteracy in the west is expansive and profound. All political education these people have ever had is propaganda designed in a lab to made it impossible for people to form coherent political thoughts.
They don’t know how anything works. They don’t know what words mean. They don’t know what socialism is, they just know that it is bad so if a corporation does something bad then that corporation must be socialist.
How do you even talk to these people? How can you have any meaningful communication with someone who is not only uneducated but actively miseducated?
That’s the effect of anticommunism and neoliberal hegemony. Everything to the left of free market fundamentalism is considered unthinkable or “immoral”
