Some of the Jewish people I know acknowledge that that state has made the world more dangerous for Jewish people. The others are zionists. I know we live in a zionist society, but it’s still wild seeing people buy into it. We’re not going to get that liberation for everyone until we’ve reached that critical mass that think that the entity shouldn’t exist. I think we’re getting closer to that, but we’ve got a ways to go.
(I have not watched this video) Basically every Jewish person I know is of the opinion that antisemitism has gotten worse since October 7th, usually for the reasons often discussed on Hexbear that all Jewish people are getting chained to by the media.
All Jewish people are getting chained to Israel by Israel. They constantly refer to themselves as “the Jews” and clearly see themselves as representative of Jews everywhere. Media elsewhere is all too happy to play along with that narrative of course.
Maybe I’ll watch more of the video, but I don’t believe Mrs. Ellis is placing any emphasis on that aspect, which is why I think she needs to take some more time on it to discuss it thoroughly, or stay focused on the genocide and discuss antisemitism another day.
