I see that our page is growing pretty steadily but how can we spread the word further? Can we post the lemmy link on the other snake pages, particularly Alicia and Jillian’s? Would the mods allow a post there? I’m sure they’re tired of people talking about Sarah on their subs.

I think they might. I can’t find the thread now but I remember reading a post from one of the mods back when one of the new subs was created and they were talking about having to go though 6200 user names
That’s awesome! I hope they’re allowed to reach them all. I still think we should post on the other subs just in case they don’t check their messages, or even to recruit new people!

From past experience, posting Lemmy links to any sub would usually get at least your comment removed (and you potentially banned) for “self-promotion”
That’s sad, but Reddit is pretty protective about not talking about any other forum outside of it.
Darn, you’re probably right. I’m starting to realize Reddit really isn’t that great!
It’s a mainstream social media which went IPO a few months ago, they are trying to keep people around as much as possible so that they can feed them ads.

Maybe just private message people on Reddit if you see them asking about TBP. I ended up here by reading through comments over there, so hopefully others will too.
I’ve been asking people to message me and have been giving this link privately. I’m always worried it’s going to be someone that is in her camp though.
I think she’d have a lot harder time taking down this page. Admin that I’ve seen posting on here have been supportive thus far and said we aren’t in violation of their rules. Lemmy as a whole also seems more protective of freedom of speech than Reddit.
I think it’s safe to say they’re already here and always have been, playing along so as to remain under the radar. That’s my feeling anyway.
Reading this post again, you can actually maybe try to send a modmail to the other snark subs.

Yes! I’ll reach out to the mod here and see if she’s willing. At least one of the other subs are private so the chances of it being reported to Reddit should be lower.
I tried to share on Alicia’s sub right when we moved. They removed it almost instantly
