Even when watching the video with all its context, I can’t understand what Hasan thinks the irony is. After Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Fernández de Cossío explains there’s nothing ironic about an American fascist wanting to hurt Cubans, Hasan changes the subject and spends five minutes straight telling Cuba it should play nicer with the US and hand over wanted dissidents. The rest is basically just Hasan complaining that Cuba isn’t capitalist enough and being condescending while refusing to learn how elections work in Cuba.
