This is a dividing wall between what’s gonna be a home brewery and the subfloor - what would be a good way to block off the top of this wall?

Not worried about ventilation, this part will obviously have a lot of extraction, and the rest of the underhouse has its own vents and is pulled through the garage via a subfloor fan (plus there’s a doorway out of shot). This is more to mitigate migration of dust and shizz.

Only cause i have a lot of it I’d use semi-rigid fiberglass. Originally bought the shit about 20 yrs ago for its acoustic properties for a studio (bought too much) and ended up using the surplus for stuff like this. Still holding its shape very well all these years later. Easy / forgiving to work with. Wouldn’t be too much $$ although still overkill. Cut the fibergalss slightly larger, then just wrap the panels in fabric and pop it in.

    *probably bad advice though.

yeah I was thinking maybe foam board or similar. It’s really just to block off the gap between the floorboards and the wall 'twixt the joists

it’s a plastic deer that came with the house. Antlers came off for protection while we were moving stuff around.
