You get used to it with time. I had to work under the rain, in soaked clothes, crawled holes full of rotten wheat, cleaned sinks full of semi-sentient biomass. Just brace yourself and do it. The only thing I couldn’t get used to are corpses. Especially in multiple pieces.
Corpses in multiple pieces are way easier to move.
I can’t stomach seeing dead people. I can open up a cow on my own, but when it’s people I just lose my mind.
I’ve cleaned up my share of crime scenes and it’s never bothered me much just meat like everything else.
I guess it requires a different kind of mental strength to do it. I value human life too much to not care.
I see over eight billion of us fucking up everything we touch and value it less then livestock.

Same here. The thought of touching a dead person makes me nauseous. I can do blood and poop with minor disgust. But I tap out at a limp limb.
Care to try working at a sawmill? I find working with wood is refreshing mentally after all kinds of shit. The smell is also amazing.
