Schumer is such an albatross around the neck of the Democratic party. I can feel the electoralism leaving my body everytime I see this guy in the news. I’ve never seen his name pop up and it’s been good news or anything remotely reassuring. It’s always the most demoralizing shit. My entire adult life.
Most of the time the leaders of the Democratic party don’t even lead, they follow public opinion. Israel feels like one of the only things they don’t want follow public opinion on, they will forever try to corral their voters into supporting genocide. No wonder they continually lose the easiest elections of all time.
The democratic Party is never followed any kind of public opinion on anything. they follow the concept of following public opinion, with how they water down popular policies until they are meaningless or at worst actually serve all to the status quo.
