    Can Scotland at least try to improve rather than waste a space in tournaments?

    Also… I didn’t quite like the season finale of Doctor Who as much as I wanted to. It was packaged up too neatly.

      yeah, not great honestly. No Susan is pretty eh, no answer about Mrs. Flood (though seems like Christmas will), Sutekh was too easily beaten, lots of unanswered questions about Ruby (snow???)

        It was basically Marvel done wrong 🤣

        UNIT is basically the geek Avengers now. I actually don’t like Ruby’s storyline went. One of my friends is a foundling, we couldn’t really comprehend why she was so obsessed with finding her birth mum. I understand wanting to know, but if a person had to give you up, chances are that environment or social circle is so toxic why would you even want to associate with that? Kind of good that her mum was very happy to see her, but what if Ruby’s appearance could upend her life now. The bit about trying to contact the birth dad is even more weird, he never knew about it, mum never told him…what if you ruin this guy’s life? Just seems so TVB to me, basically the finale kind of put a damper on a strong season.

          Honestly I don’t mind it, cuz it’s a story, and tbh people get obsessed with far stupider things. But the answer just didn’t make sense. Oh, she’s important because everyone thought it was important. Hah, gotcha, viewers, for thinking she’d be important. Nope! She’s just some gal. And the fact that I, RTD, made you pay attention to it, was intentional so I could say “gotcha, she’s not important, she’s only important because you think she is”.

            I think this was what people were enraged with in regards to The Last Jedi, but in that context it works to an extent but here it’s just like…huh? It’s kind of like baiting the conspiracy 🤣

              I didn’t actually watch the sequels (besides reading novelisations for the first two cuz I was even more of a book nerd back then), but isn’t Rey like, Palpatine’s granddaughter now? lol

                First she was a nobody, which is great because being able to wield the Force should pop up anywhere. But Star Wars fans hated that and old Luke being a jaded hermit.

    I still see Obi-Martin going to Bayern, which is fair play to him seeing as how Arteta isn’t really too keen on intergrating academy kids into the first team. I’m curious what the plan for Nwaneri is.

      I think we just need to draw some weaker teams in cups tbh, it’s not like Arteta didn’t play Patino or Sagoe Jr or anything. Arteta wants to win and it’s just harder to integrate academy kids while doing so, especially these days with the game at such a high level. Though sub appearances for Walters should have happened.
