Really interesting video that I found on my feed. I usually pivot to a flush build for my gold stake runs but according to this video, pairs are actually more consistent (especially in higher stakes where you have less discards/money).
Wish I knew all this before doing half the gold stakes…
Yeah, it’s always been better to focus on getting the most out of the least cards played and working to get jokers with synergy.
Yup, but I always assumed high card builds were the late-game meta, I rarely ever go pairs.
Pairs or even high card can get some crazy bonuses
That’s funny I got through so much of the game playing flush builds.
1st gold stake checkered . Since then always go with flushes before anything else , specially in ante 1 where scoring more points at 1ce important to earn more cash/win
