Yes, I found 99% of the match boring but it’s fully down to the tactics that Chelsea deployed. No one should be bashing us because we didn’t attack a team that needed a goal, but who fielded a back 5 and put their striker on the wing.

Yeah, Rosario was saying afterwards that they put on a really good show. And I was like: really?! You were a goal down going into this. And you were going into your opponent’s stadium, which you knew would be a cauldron. You knew you needed to avoid at least one goal (preferably more). And you played a defensive formation. And that’s a good showing?!

Watching the first half of Newcastle City the night afterwards, I understood Chelsea’s tactics here. Don’t concede and hit us on the break.

I didn’t see it, but it’s not hard to assume that an acceptable performance from us, being a goal in front on aggregate and at home, would be to let them do the exact opposite of what they need to do.

They were already done before Havertz scored his. I hope they try the same thing in the premier league match because our approach won’t be the same.

I don’t know how their defender didn’t manage to intercept Declan’s pass to Kai for our goal. It’s like the ball went right through him.
