I have lived on what is basically a solarpunk commune, they just don’t call it that because they lead off with their values, goals, and methods. There’s solar panels and big gardens and wood shacks and cob huts, and there’s also cars and big vans and dumpster diving and power tools hooked up to gas-powered generators and a lot of scrappy, half-finished stuff.
