Device controls through a voice assistant only matter if the assistant reliably responds, and Bixby’s track record on basic commands has not inspired confidence. The One UI 8.5 timeline also raises the question of whether this is a genuine platform investment or just marketing polish for the next Galaxy launch cycle.
