The UK’s biggest video-on-demand services will have to follow the same rules on content and accessibility as traditional broadcasters, under new legislation being implemented.



Let’s see the Government apply those existing rules to GB News first, eh?
Why? Streamers are way bigger than GB News in terms of viewership.
Because the rules should apply to everyone, obviously.
Edit: and because GB News has been breaking them for ages now.
Seems then like there’s no real reason to block applying the rules to streamers while trying to prosecute GB news.
What I didn’t realise when writing my first comment was that GB News has already been fined for breaching Ofcom rules.
