Microsoft had a partnership with OpenAI.
Now, Microsoft hired one of the core people who created OpenAI.
They still say they’re committed to the Open AI partnership in the article.
In practice I wonder if they’ll quietly withdraw in the next couple years as sama and co rebuild within Microsoft itself.
That’s pretty much exactly what I expect MS to do here.
