It’d be neat if they figured out cryopreservation even for the brain. Right now my conception of death is just what I experienced for the billions of years before my birth. No complaints, but I didn’t get much from the experience. If death is final then whatever. If there’s the slightest materialistic chance of being reborn, that’d be fun even if it’s just to do what I already do five hundred years from now. Give me enough of a robot body to hike and garden and I’ll be happy.

This has been my thought in regards to cryopreservation, even if the chances of being “reborn”/“awoken” is in the single digit percentages it’s still more than the 0% if you get put in the ground lol

I’d be happy to just see where humanity ends up in a few hundred years. And if we have achieved FTL travel I’d be ecstatic to get a small ship and start my Space Pirate dream lmao
