Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, in partnership with Shield AI, L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX), and Parry Labs, completed its fourth autonomous flight test on the H145 Airbus helicopter and successfully integrated all four company’s technologies into a single aircraft together for the first time.

Note, the Lakota is the trainer aircraft for the AH64 so the implications of automated flight here are pretty big in the longterm both for conversion of existing manned helicopters to unmanned capable platforms and for the integration of advanced autopilot to help increase the safety of human pilots.
