    It’s causing colleges to close, as they relied on foreign students to inflate their budgets. International program tuition fees being double or triple that of domestic fees, naturally the boards saw dollar signs, and now their greed and overextension/lack of foresight is literally killing opportunities for domestic students in the process, though some larger institutions are picking up some of the slack.

    Source: School I applied for back in January is closing down due to “lack of funding” by end of 2026 pretty much right after I was accepted.
