Welcome to the General VN Discussion thread!
If you have something you’d like to talk about but don’t think it’s worth posting as a separate thread this is the place for you.
- Did you start playing something new?
- Are there any games you’re looking forward to?
- Are you looking for suggestions on what to play?
- Do you have some feedback or questions about our community?
These and any other topics are welcome here - as long as they are VN or community related.
No new patches or VN reading since last thread as I wasn’t really in a mental space to do. I’m planning to go back to reading this month but we’ll see how it goes.
Happy Pride Month everyone!
Kana ~Little Sister~ Is what I’m playing as of now. I’ve still got a few endings to go but for the few I’ve finished? It’s quickly begin my favorite VN of all time.
I really love the old school art style but reading the description… I don’t think I have the processing power to handle story like this again. I’m still can’t get over Narcissu. Ugh, maybe I’ll just chuck it onto my backlog anyway, just in case.
It gets a gold star from me in all regards, but it’s certainly not a light story by any means. It’s a classic example of a Nakige, even the OST is amazing all around Though one thing I will say when you finally get around to playing it off your backlog be sure to play it without a guide for your first ending! It’s actually pretty important for the tone if you ask me.
Thanks for the heads-up, I’ll keep that in mind!
I read the excellent game jam VN Model Employee, set in the same universe and time frame as of the Devil and had a really good time! Didn’t expect that considering that the premise is that you’re working in a near-future Amazon warehouse. I love my manipulative corporate AI girlfriend <3
Apart from that, I recently started playing an indie mystery VN called The Murder Hotel (three guesses what its about lol). I’m still at the very start, though.

Say no more, I’m in! Eventually… Seriously though, it looks interesting so thanks for sharing.
