Two Conservative MPs say leading a fundraising cruise for LGBTQ2S+ refugees is a tangible way for the party to advance the rights of gender and sexual minorities.
They probably figure it’s worth the risk if they can win over a decent number of yuppies that are doing okay for themselves. They may have calculated the base won’t risk voting PPC much like the Liberals aren’t currently taking it seriously that they could lose votes to the NDP.
