Normally this strip gets a laugh out of me but this one wasn’t funny at all.
Yeah. I was just thinking that. Maybe they were trying to court incels with this one.
If i had to guess, it was probably posted during Depressing Comic Week, which is something they do on a regular basis (though in more recent years they have a banner marking it as such on every strip).

Would be much funnier if he had a laser pointer pointing at his forehead instead of shooting her, she would be in the way of the bullet last second. This version is a little to close to abusive ex boyfriend for my taste
