    Seems like your phone is very out of date. You should probably consider upgrading, for security if nothing else. (As in, if your phone is old enough to show the wrong message here, it’s probably also not receiving mainline security updates. A correlation, not a causation.)

    Up-to-date devices showed “Critical AusAlert”.

      Samsung s10+. Very out of date, but 100% functional, so I am very hesitant to just create ewaste for the sake of it.

        There might be some third-party version of Android you could put onto it that’d keep you more up to date? I’m not really sure, as I’ve never had a phone last that long with a usable battery, so I’ve never tried.

          Would likely end up with broken safetynet then, so not really worth the hassle. Ironically, staying on an out of date stock ROM is more preferable for my bank than staying up to date and safe…

          (Its been a while since I did the 3rd party ROM thing, so I might be making some wrong assumptions. If its gotten better maybe I’ll consider it)
