I had premium before they stalted showing me ads on my premium account. I contacted support and their response was “oh no, it only covers mid-video ads. we still show ads elsewhere”.
Me: 😃 fuck. right. off. cancelled.
Huh, weird. I have premium and the only ads I see are the sponsor spots creators put directly in their videos. When I go to skip them, it even gives me a button to skip those, too.
But if I saw ads despite paying for premium I’d tell them to fuck off, too.
Yeah, this was a while ago.
I had Taylor Swift ads all over my home page despite premium. Then some other artist after that.
Ew. Yeah I’d be upset too.
My friend has premium and sometimes his videos halt and buffer for a minute like it was going to cut to an ad, but then didn’t and started the video again. Even when it’s not an ad, it’s an annoying interruption!
