This post and the comments in here are made for the purpose of equating ALL criticism with the wrong type of criticism.

When the post begins with “I’m not saying you shouldn’t criticize Zohran or the DSA,” I don’t think it’s intended as this sort of sleight-of-hand.

That’s weird, why are all the comments that are agreeing with this post doing exactly that?

It’s very clearly inventing a person to criticize. Again, if you would actually read my comments (none of you do), people on here are not quoting Jackson Hinkle to criticize Mamdani. This post is inventing a person to be mad at to pigeonhole all criticism. You are not addressing this point.

I think it’s very funny that you used the go-to phrase that everyone always uses when they definitely don’t allow criticism as proof. “Now, I have my criticisms of the Democratic party, but you need to vote for Kamala.” I’m sure that was in good faith as well. Again, is this seriously where the level of discourse is at?

I dunno. I’ve met a lot of our local DSA girls. They’re cool and nice and a lot of them are MLs! I love them and consider them comrades.

It’s undialectical to get caught up in “X good, Y bad” politics. Zohran is good in some ways and bad in others, but he will not be leading a true proletarian movement in the U.S. That’s what the proletarian party, the PSL, is for. Zohran is just a part of the Socialist periphery. And he’s alright as a part of that periphery! But he might not be alright forever. There was a point where Trotsky was alright, and then he wasn’t anymore.

When the PSL endorses a candidate besides Zohran, vote for them. Until then, vote for Zohran. Not in New York? Not your problem! If you want to get involved, join an org (PSL if they’ll take you, someone else if they won’t), do some work. If you don’t, get drunk and get laid. Build community. Get out there! But I’m just annoyed by the “Zohran good, Zohran bad” stuff. Why not “Zohran okay”? “Zohran good in some ways and bad in others”?

Again, if you would actually read my comments (none of you do)

We really have to do away with “the only way you could possibly disagree with me is if you didn’t read my comment, or are just otherwise ignorant.” I read what you wrote, I just think you’re wrong.

So you’re purposefully not responding to what I’m saying?

“I have a really good argument, I just don’t wanna.”

The fact of the matter is, you know that people criticizing the entryists into the genocide party are not relying on Jackson Hinkle to make their arguments. None of the people saying this are ever going to be able to show me any significant number of posts (not even one so far) of people doing this. Either you aren’t reading what I’m saying, as both of you have ignored important parts of what I’m saying, or you simply know you don’t have anything to say.
