        My fave quip in parliament

        Some politician stands up to give a speech, starts with

        “I’m a Country member” ( as in the Country Party )

        Fred Daly of the ALP yells out “I remember”

        Paul Keating used to torment John Howard with jokes all the time. Howard would get so angry he would be ejected by the Speaker
