when you have investors going to every small town within <50 miles of a city and offering the ask +10% on multiple properties (which also raises the price of all the surrounding houses), then yea. people are completely shut out of buying in their own zip code, especially younger people who haven’t built a credit score of >750 and/or born to rich parents
If you see someone selling their house to an investor you should cut their feet off.
doesn’t help either when county commissioners are also real estate assholes who encourage out of town people to buy up the houses to turn into airbnb’s, to “improve tourism,” which in turn leads to even more rich florida republicans moving in to make the whole town even worse
If you see a Republican, you should burn their house down.
