Hello comrades and welcome to the third improvement megathread of August!
This is a rare Monday edition since I was traveling yesterday.
Some discussion ideas:
- How was your week?
+ Do you have some plans for next week?

I recently read All Quiet on the Western Front, which is a great short novel about the WWI, highly recommended if you’re into that subject. Haven’t seen the movie yet but it’s on the list
The collection I just read had a few chapters lifted from it as standalone short stories actually. I’ve read it in its entirety before as well, though it’s been a while. The recent movie was pretty decent for what it was, I enjoyed it pretty well but couldn’t remember enough of the book to compare them directly
