        I loved my paladin who was just fine at everything. We needed a tank? She might not hold up compared to an equivalent barbarian, but she has a big hp pool and a bunch of tricks to stay standing. Need DPS? She can’t do it all day, but for a while she can empty spell slots into smites at a horrid rate. Need healing? Sure, she’s no cleric, but she’ll keep you in the fight. It was awesome being able to just plug any gap and solve any problem in a fight

      going full dps unless really really well geared is often suboptimal
