We all knew that this was coming, that the British press would absolutely smear a party leader as antisemitic if he dared defend Palestinians. I’m not surprised, but I am frustrated. We need a better strategy to reach the public because the media is clearly acting as gatekeepers and has its own agenda.

The typical answer to this is lately been: “Just leverage social media! It worked for Trump!” but this ignores the fact that legacy media has played a critical role there, amplifying his message and creating stories from that manchild’s tweets. The Greens are never going to get that level of special treatment unless it’s to destroy us.
