Sadly, they do not. When you are fully infertile and tell them so, to make them stop bothering you, it comes up, “well, you can always adopt!”
Personally I have never wanted kids, but I could not adopt either, not even be a foster parent. I would never ever be considered fit to adopt kids, with my vast medical history. I imagine these types of people, would make up some other bullshit argument, even if I explained that.
