Since a few days, we got our first CDN node in Latin America, provided and run by the amazing Undernet community in Uruguay. Thanks to them, users in the region will benefit from faster map downloads. For a start we are exploring how well it works with users based out of Uruguay, Argentina and Venezuela.
If you are interested and able to help your local area in a similar way, get in touch via the channels listed on our website!

Can we get one in Canada as well?
We currently do not have plans to host more nodes ourselves, but i there are Canadian users or organizations that have spare bandwidth and at least ~300 GB of storage that a CoMaps CDN node could use, please get in touch!
