Jon Stewart will continue to lead “The Daily Show” through 2028.
The host has extended his contract with the Comedy Central series for another two years and will continue to man the desk through the next presidential election. Stewart’s contract was set to end at the end of 2026 after signing a one-year renewal in November 2025.

Lmfao, Jon is determined to see Trump out of office.
They need to figure out a full time replacement the rotation was nice for a while but its gotten tiring
Stewart will remain part of the rotating lineup of hosts that includes Ronny Chieng, Josh Johnson, Jordan Klepper, Michael Kosta and Desi Lydic, with Troy Iwata and Grace Kuhlenschmidt as non-hosting correspondents.
