Pay $1 more and get all the DLC in Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition
Is the game any good? Been on my radar for a. Bit, but still needing to finish mount and blade bannerlord. Not sure if this game is different enough to warrant it.
It’s very different. This is a story driven game. Also I’d say it’s more complicated in terms of combat. Though if you like Mount And blade I bet you’ll like Kingdom Come. I highly recommend it.
One of my favorite games of all time. Great story and a fun and interesting world. Love the progression that isn’t the normal “weak in the prolouge, strong the rest of the game”, as you feel weak for most of the game, making it super satisfying when you can confidently beat harder enemies.
Shitting my pants because I was ambushed in a forest always was my favourite part. I probably have 150+ heart rate when some masked dudes charge at me shouting things in Hungarian every single time it happens.
Playing hardcore literally has me scared like a mouse riding through the woods. Whenever I see something or someone on the road ahead, I immediately turn around and find a different path. Perfect immersion.
It is very fun. combat is ‘simple’, but not easy.
It definitely takes time to get used to.
It’s a fairly grounded game with a well written and (to me) engaging storyline.
I loved the idea/world and wanted to like it but agree the combat is clunky and frustrating. It’s realistic someone would probably die after getting ambushed by 3 guys but it’s not particularly fun, so be prepared to master it to enjoy it
It definitely has its rough edges and is not everybody’s cup of tea. I love it and the announcement of the second game has prompted me to start my fourth run. It is unlike any other game, really.
