Ah, it’s frustrating that I loved Heavensward and Shadowbringers the most. Will also still put in those many more thousands of hours yet to play though! And nice to meet a fellow player, hopefully we’ll randomly match in a roulette and you can watch me YOLO tank haha
I started playing just before Endwalker came out so I basically played everything through together all the way through to the Endsinger, so didn’t really have proper separation through any part of it. Dawntrail is my first experience of playing a single expansion at a time (and it sucks, I want to mainline more MSQ dammit, none of this waiting another 2 years for a new expansion!)
I main healer so I’ll get to keep you alive if you YOLO tank 😊
I’ve been playing since ARR so over 10 years now which is the second longest I’ve ever stuck to one game (the first being Counter Strike which I’ve played since 1999, I still miss beta 3 maps).
If you’re on Materia please feel free to add me as a friend, I’m Kisume Rakkhar and my partner is Ahri Rakkhar who also mains healer. Healers are always awesome, I particularly love them when I play my second main which is floor tank (DRG) as I Leeroy Jenkins with that class hehe.
We haven’t actually finished Dawntrail yet as there have been so many awesome games this year (e.g. BG3) which have been better than Dawntrail as it’s plot has been weaker and we do every side quest and event, like why send Wuk into the massive futuristic science bubble when Koana is literally the perfect person for the job?
Oh and if you ever need gil I’m more than happy to throw you a mil just for coming to dance at one of our houses hehe

And thank you for the gil offer but I’m under control there, I’ve got at least two FCs worth of submarines taking care of the bank balance! I’m gonna need to do a bunch of parts upgrades soon though 😅
Haven’t played BG3 yet though; I mean to but just haven’t found the free time. FF7 Rebirth is the only non FFXIV game I’ve played this year I think outside of more casual stuff like Fall Guys. Have gotten pretty comfy in Eorzea.
And I cannot wait for the FFXI alliance raids, I played that game for at least 10 years back in the day, and the latest patch trailer with the opening music for the game playing in the background was just perfect. That better be an orchestrion roll!
Our mains are on Ravana too, we moved from Tonberry. I have an alt on one of those worlds you listed and my original main is on an EU data center as I was born in Britland.
Understood on the gil lol, I have 10 retainers (yes I pay for the companion app) so typically it’s Ahri who spends all my gil on glam but I get very stressed if I ever get close to being down to 50mil. I can easily do a mil a day just from quick synthing what they pull in when I actively play. Subs though, I know you don’t need the gil hehe. It’s weird when people say they only have a mil isn’t it?
We haven’t completed BG3 which is a shame as it’s a fantastic game, but also time poor (we play co-op), especially because I’ve put in 200+ hours into Satisfactory in the past 3 weeks… Also co-op but my partner is getting left behind whilst I’m enjoying my sabbatical.
FFVII… The original holds such a cherished place in my heart that I played the first part of the remake for 30mins and I just couldn’t do it. I need the entirety of it to be released before I can go through that rollercoaster again so I’m being incredibly patient which if you knew me you’d know that patience in this ADHD kid wearing an adults body is not my strong suit.
Hope there’s an orchestration roll for you but they don’t seem to release the ones that we’d all drop a 100mil gil on…
But anyways, I hope we end up playing 14 together someday :) Signing off as Ahri is saying I’ve spent too long writing this reply and we need to go play :D
