Anything would be an improvement over the current modem. It works okay but it’s no Qualcomm. Power consumption and heat are still higher.
That’s something. I thought those kind of receivers (?) were not cheap or small.
It looks like a built in feature of the new generation of exynos modems that the Pixel phones use
I guess Samsung has figured out how to minify it sufficiently, the cost is probably not really a factor for these phones that are pretty premium devices already
