Be warned: going down this path can lead to the expensive hobby of tool collecting. It is a disease that afflicts many of us and there is no known cure. In my teens I had a Crescent wrench, a couple of screwdrivers, and a hammer. Then I bought a drill… Three decades later, I now have multiple power tools of various shapes and sizes along with bits, blades, and disks to use with each of them. Maybe I’m weird, and I am open to that as a possibility, but I don’t see low birthrates as a problem. I feel like the human race could actually benefit from a reduced population. If the population was to reduce by half or more because people did not want to procreate and did so voluntarily and of their own free will, many of our climate change issues would be reduced and might even reverse without changing anything else.

Unless and until the human population gets down to two billion or less, there is little to no danger of a non-man made disaster wiping us out.

These are used drives that have about 35K hours (4 years) of power on time.

I think your fuser roller may be dirty or damaged. Try printing several pages that are blank or nearly blank. If it’s dirty, the lines should get progressively lighter. If not you may need a new fuser.

You can buy a fuser repair kit for your printer model online. They are usually only slightly more complicated than changing out the toner cartridge. Just be sure to lay down several sheets of printer paper to cover your work area to catch any toner dust.

The struggle for people like me is that I currently can’t afford a new saw, and I don’t like the idea that the way Sawstop works is that it ruins the blade in addition to saving your fingers. A cheap trade when it works as intended but not cheap at all when it goes off because you forgot to disable it before cutting some treated lumber.
