I do have covers/ domes for these, just had it off for pictures. They definitely help in the early stages like you mentioned. Luckily my tent stays about 73-75 degrees F as well.

Get a Sony a6000 and use full manual mode. Crazy to me how many new photographers don’t use full manual controls and don’t understand them.
